CLUB PATRONS
We are very proud to have Lucinda Russell, Scotland's top female trainer and Peter Scudamore MBE, multiple times Champion jockey as patrons of the Club.
This strengthens the link between the club, racing and potential ex racehorse owners.
Many of our members have horses from Peter and Lucinda they are always delighted to see them, indeed any ex race horse, out and about having a great life after racing.

Goodbye to a very dear friend and patron
Peter Monteith
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our first Patron, the reason all of this started in the first place, Peter Monteith.
Peter was not just a patron, he was a very best friend for 16 years and he will be terribly missed by absolutely everyone, we all loved him dearly. He was a man so full of fun, energy, love and life.
He lived for his horses, he had a gift for taking jaded horses and helping them find their form again – and he also knew when it was time for them to become an ex racehorse, and he loved to see them in their new lives, content they had earned their retirement and would continue to be loved, cared for and have an assured future out of racing.
Peter leaves behind a wealth of wonderful memories of fun times, practical jokes, rubbish jokes, a love for all animals, loyalty to his friends and most of all he leaves a smile and warmth with me whenever I will think of him and the friendship he gave – goodbye to a wonderful man.
