Festival Supreme Champions - Valerie Fairnington and Silver Bullet

This year’s Festival was held as part of Hendersyde Horse Trials, Kelso with the kind permission of Livy Agnew, owner and organiser of the event.  We were especially honoured to have Ian Stark as our Masterclass judge and he did a wonderful job on the day.  Huge thanks also to Morag Clark who judged the veteran, in hand and championships, her job was very difficult indeed.

As always, the turnout was excellent. Horses and riders looked wonderful and were a great advert for ex racehorses and their versatility after racing.  Indeed, 2 of the horses Silver Bullet with Valerie Fairnington and Kasilia with Amy Brown also competed in the BE event.

Silver Bullet and Valerie finished a very creditable 13^th in the BE 100 section F.  Kasilia and Amy had a fantastic event finishing in 8^th place in the BE 100 section H.  Well done to them both.  Next year we will be putting up 1^st to 6^th place ScotNorth rosettes in each of the event sections to recognise the increasing number of ex racehorses that are eventing, and reward them and their riders for their had work.

Now onto the results.  The entries were so big we only recorded places to 6th, but well done everyone who took part.
