Scotland - BSPS Summer Finale Show @ Rowallan

BSPS Summer Finale Show - Rowallan

ScotNorth has teamed up with BSPS Scotland which has included ‘Horse’ classes in their show Summer Finale at the fabulous venue Rowallan on Saturday 19th September.

Amongst these classes is the Retrained Racehorse. For 2009 the class is open, next year we hope that it will affiliate to ScotNorth. We are supporting the retrained racehorse class with the following awards:-

o Free 2010 membership to the highest placed non ScotNorth member;

o Free 2010 membership to the 3 highest placed ScotNorth members.

The class is also a qualifier for our Ridden Championship class the following weekend at our Championship Show held at the Scottish National Equestrian Centre.

It will also attract double points for the 2009 Points series, and be treated as a ScotNorth class for points allocation. The Best Ex Racehorse awards below will also attract double points.

We will also be putting up Best Ex Racehorse rosettes for the highest placed ScotNorth members in the following classes

o CLASS 51 RIDING HORSE

o CLASS 52 SMALL HUNTER

o CLASS 53 RIDDEN HUNTER

o CLASS 54 WORKING HUNTER HORSE

So, I hope that many of us will be able to go along and support not only the Retrained Racehorse class but also some of the other horse classes.

British Elite Championship Show

British Elite Horse Show

This is widely known a the Horse of the Year Show for Amateurs.  Professional riders/producers are not allowed to compete leaving an even field for all amatuer riders.

We were approached by the show in Ocotber 2008 and are delighted to announce we have partnered with the organisers and they will be hosting ScotNorth in hand and ridden classes.

It is normally held in the North of England but due to venue issues it wil be held at Arena UK in 2009.

The Davey John In Hand and Ridden perpetual Memorial Trophies will be awarded to the winner of each class.  The show date is the 4th anniversary of his very sad and sudden loss and it would be great to see all his ex racehorse friends turn out in his memory, thanks Lisa Hamer.
