Tui Equestrian Safety Bar
''Denzel (Just Classic) is one of 3 ex racehorses I own.  When I first got him he was a terrible loader.  As I run the Scottish & Northern Ex Racehorse Club it was a bit embarrassing not being able to bring my own horse to the events.  I missed out on all the events in 2008, having to go on foot and just admire all the other ex racehorses in the ring.

When we finally got him to go into my trailer, he would shoot out backwards at the smallest noise or movement so you could not safely do the breach bars or back ramp.  Even with me standing at his head and someone else doing the bars at the back he would panic and shoot back, putting whoever was beind him at risk of injury.

I saw an ad for the Tui bar and my wonderful boyfriend bought me one for my birthday.  Once I had fitted the bar, which was very easy, I was concerned that it was too low for my big horse as it was at lower chest height setting and I always travelled my horses at the top setting in the Ifor Williams trailer.

The first time we got him fully ''locked and loaded'' he put the bar to the test !  He sat on the back bar, bucked, kicked, ran at the front bar and kept this up for a quite while.  The bar never moved or came undone and there were no issues with its chest height. Now, 8 months on he is happy to walk into the trailer and stand for the bar to be raised or lowered.  We have been able to attend all the club events, and lots more too.  The Tui bar was the best present ever because without it I think I would still be going to events without Denzel and would have missed out on the opportunity to go XC schooling with Caroline Powell!!

So thanks Tui, what a wonderful invention that I would highly recommend to anyone with a difficult loader, it is well worth the money.
