The Horse Trials

Hopetoun BE Horse trials is one of the most popular ODE fixtures in Scotland.  It will be held on Sat 4th July 2009.

Held in the beautiful grounds of Hopetoun House it combines the excitement of British Eventing with the tranquillity of the stately home and beautiful grounds.

For full details of the ODE, and entry information, visit the British Eventing website at www.britisheventing.com and go to the diary/calendar pages.

The Festival of the Ex Racehorse Sun 5th July

This is the first festival of its kind, thanks to the committee of Hopetoun Horse Trials and generous sponsorship from prolific racehorse owners David Stevenson of Ashleybank Investments (racing owner of the 2008 winner Skipper's Cleuch) and Ray and Anita Green.

The Judges

We are delighted to welcome Champion jockey Peter Scudamore and top trainer Lucinda Russell to our judging panel for the 2009 Festival.  It is a rare privelege to present our ex racehorses to such experienced and respected racing people.
