Chair - Lisa Hamer

Lisa is based in Edinburgh and currently has 3 ex racehorses, The Count (aka Brian) who after a difficult start is proving to be a bit of a jumping star, Just Classic (aka Denzel - see picture) who looks like he will make a great eventer and Winter Ramble (aka Rambo) who is 17 hands of ''Victor Meldrew'' personified as he is not growing old gracefully !

Lisa also has her Aunt's Lusitano x - Harry, who is a bit of a dressage diva and totally wasted on her !! :-)

Lisa has been involved in re-homing and re-training ex racehorses for the past 14 years.

Sponsorship Secretary and Chief Ground Crew - Lynne Melville

Lynne is based in Edinburgh and is slave to ex racehorses Lochanalteen (left) and Ticklish (right).  She also has 2 VERY naughty welshies that keep her on her toes.

Treasurer - Mike Desoer-Forster

Mike owns ex racehorse Hawthorn Prince.  They are just getting to know each other as they have only been together a few months but ''H&M'' are coming on great as a team.

Merchandise & Marketing - Linda Desoer-Forster

Linda owns Marylou (Mare of Wetwang) a beautiful chestnut ex racehorse mare, and Chakira another gorgeous chestnut mare.  Marylou was owned by Richard Whitely (countdown) before coming to Linda.

Linda does a lot of dressage, and when not competing at ScotNorth shows she is our first aider being a qualified medical technician.

Linda is also an animal communicator and has helped many of our members and their horses with issues and problems.

Co-Ordinator (Scotland) - Gemma Thomson

Gemma rides ex racehorse Leading Fairy (see picture) and plans to event him if she can ever get enough time away from her demanding job to get him (and her) fit enough.

Co-Ordinator (The North) - Nicola Falcus

Nicola owns ex racehorse Hidden Exit aka Maggie.  

Nicola nearly lost Maggie to colic and all ScotNorth members have a very special place in their hearts for this very brave mare who fought back and now look at her (see picture).

Co-Ordinator (Scotland) - Lindsey Bingham

Lindsay is taking time out following thebirth of her lovely daughter Chloe.  She does not have an ex racehorse at the moment, but is already starting to look out for her next one.

The love of her life is Coisty, a gorgeous show jumper (see opposite) who she has brough on from a wee boy to the very talented young man he is today.

Planning Committee - Claire

Claire is in The North and has a rather stunning dark bay gelding Chief.  They enjoy showing and hacking.......and the Club of course !

Lynda is in Scotland and has a big equine family.  Winslow Boy (Dennis the Menace) is her ex racehorse, Flynn is her lovely 17h IDxTB, Tammy is her companion pony and Dougie the Donk is the cutest wee donkey on 4 legs.

Lynda saw Winslow at Perth one day and said to Lisa ''if he ever needs a home I want him'' - very dangerous to say that to Lisa !! 3 months later Lisa delivered Dennis to his new mum.
